Remove tags from an ApsaraDB RDS for SQL Server instance when they are no longer needed or when the instance configuration changes.
You can remove a maximum of 20 tags at a time. If a tag is not attached to any other RDS instance after removal, ApsaraDB RDS deletes the tag.
Remove a tag from a single instance
Log on to the ApsaraDB RDS console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the instance resides.
Find the instance and move the pointer over the tag icon in the Tags column. In the popover that appears, click Edit.
Click the delete icon next to the tag you want to remove.
Click OK.
Remove tags from multiple instances
Log on to the ApsaraDB RDS console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the instances reside.
Select the instances from which you want to remove tags.
Click Delete Tags for Multiple Resources below the instance list.
In the dialog box that appears, select the tags to remove.
Click Unbind x tags, where x is the number of tags selected.
The Configure Tags successfully message confirms the tags were removed.
