Tair (Redis OSS-compatible) provides YiTian RDS instances for Redis. These instances are a cost-effective option for using Redis.
What are YiTian RDS instances
Cost-efficient instances are master-replica instances that are deployed in the Cloud-native deployment mode and are compatible with Redis 7.0, 6.0, and 5.0. They support specifications from 1 GB to 64 GB and are suitable for scenarios that do not require horizontal cluster scaling. For approximately 50% to 60% of the price of a Standard Edition instance, you can obtain a Redis instance that offers the same specifications and performance as a Standard Edition instance.
The following limits apply to YiTian RDS instances:
Supported architecture: Master-replica.
Available regions: China (Hangzhou), China (Shanghai), China (Beijing), China (Zhangjiakou), and China (Shenzhen).
You cannot directly convert a YiTian RDS instance to a Standard Edition instance using the upgrade or downgrade feature. However, you can migrate data to a Standard Edition instance using Data Transmission Service (DTS). Fees
YiTian RDS instances use tiered pricing, where the unit price (price per GB) decreases as the instance type size increases. The following table uses the China (Beijing) region as an example:

Shard specifications

Enterprise SSDs (ESSDs) are used only to run the instance and store logs. They are not used as a data storage medium.
