An IP whitelist template lets you manage access rules for multiple Tair (Redis OSS-compatible) instances from one place. Create a template, associate it with instances, and all updates propagate automatically.

Create an IP whitelist template
Log on to the console.

In the upper-left corner, select a region.

In the left-side navigation pane, click IP Whitelist Templates.

In the upper-left corner of the page, click Create IP Whitelist Template.

In the panel that appears, configure the parameters described in the following table.
ImportantDisassociating a template from an instance removes the template's IP addresses from that instance's whitelist. Those IP addresses can no longer connect to the instance.
Parameter Description IP Whitelist Template Name A name to identify the template. IP Addresses in Whitelist IP addresses or CIDR blocks to allow. Separate entries with commas (,). Maximum: 1,000 entries. Associate Instance Select instances from the Available Instances section. To remove an instance, click it in the Selected Instances section. -
Click OK.

In the confirmation dialog box, click OK.
Modify an IP whitelist template

Log on to the Tair (Redis OSS-compatible) console.

In the left-side navigation pane, click IP Whitelist Templates.

Find the template and click Modify in the Actions column.

Update the parameters as needed and click OK.
Delete an IP whitelist template
Deleting a template removes its IP addresses from all associated instances. To retain the IP addresses, disassociate the template from all instances before deleting it on the Whitelist Setting tab.

Log on to the Tair (Redis OSS-compatible) console.

In the left-side navigation pane, click IP Whitelist Templates.

Find the template and click Delete in the Actions column.

In the message that appears, click Delete.
