Resource groups let you organize cloud resources by business unit, project, or other criteria.
Prerequisites
You can create a resource group using an Alibaba Cloud account or a RAM identity (a RAM user or a RAM role) that has permissions to manage resource groups.
By default, when a RAM identity creates a resource group, it is automatically granted the AdministratorAccess permission for that resource group, allowing it to create and manage resources within the group. To disable this behavior, see Disable the feature that sets the creator as a resource group administrator.
Procedure

Sign in to the Resource Management console.

On the Resource Group page, click Create Resource Group.

Enter the Resource Group Identifier and Display Name, then click Confirm.
For example, set the Resource Group Identifier to
Project-Aand the Resource Group Name toProject A.After you complete the operation, the resource group state is Creating.... Wait about three seconds and click the refresh icon
. When the state changes to Available, the resource group is created.
