Exit a resource share

Limits

• Only principals that are not the management account or a member of a resource directory can exit a resource share. Management accounts and resource directory members can only be removed by the resource owner.
• If a resource share contains any resource type that does not support exit, principals cannot exit the resource share and can only be removed by the resource owner. For details about which resource types support exit, see the Support for exit from a resource share column in the Services that work with Resource Sharing section of Supported services for Resource Sharing.

Procedure

1. Log on to the Resource Management console.
2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Resource Sharing > Resources Shared To Me.
3. On the Resources Shared To Me page, click the ID of the target resource share.
4. In the upper-right corner of the resource share details page, click Exit Resource Share.
5. In the Exit Resource Share dialog box, click OK.
