1. Component introduction

Prerequisites: Open new web page or Get opened web page

Use this component to retrieve the number of similar controls on a page in a specified Chrome, Edge, or Internet Explorer (IE) browser object.

4. Component usage example

4.1. Configuration example

  1. For the Opened browser object parameter, select `v_web_obj_1`. This value is the output of the prerequisite Open new web page or Get opened web page component.

  2. For the Target control parameter, select the captured similar control.

  3. Keep the default values for the other options.

4.2. Example result

The component retrieves the number of similar controls in the Chrome browser.

5. Example flow

Setup flow

  1. Use the Open new web page component to open the Chrome browser and navigate to the Baidu home page.

  2. Use the Get number of similar controls (web page) component to retrieve the number of similar controls.

  3. Use the Record log component to record the number of similar controls in the log panel.

Result

The flow navigates to the Baidu home page in the Chrome browser and retrieves the number of top searches, as shown in the following figure.
