Error Code Reference

Real Translation Buddy OpenAPI error code reference and troubleshooting guide.

All OpenAPI responses follow a unified structure. On failure, Success is false, Code returns a specific error code, and Message returns a human-readable description.

Client-side errors

Parameter validation

Code	Description	Suggested action
`InvalidParameter`	Request parameter validation failed	Check whether required parameters are present and correctly formatted
`InvalidParameter.Config`	Translation config is invalid	Check source/target language codes, term list ID, and template config
`InvalidParameter.Page`	Pagination parameter is invalid	Check MaxResults / NextToken parameters

File errors

Code	Description	Suggested action
`File.Invalid`	Invalid file parameter	Use the SDK's Advance method to upload local files
`File.Unreachable`	File cannot be accessed	The file link may have expired; re-upload the file
`UnsupportedFileFormat`	Unsupported file format	Supported formats: .pptx / .ppt / .docx / .doc / .xlsx / .xls / .pdf / .txt / .md / .mp4 / .jpg / .jpeg / .png / .webp
`FileTooLarge`	File exceeds size limit	Size limits: images 50 MB, PDF 100 MB, MP4 1 GB, other formats 500 MB. Compress or split the file and retry.
`EmptyDocument`	Document content is empty	Document word/page count is 0, cannot translate

Credits and sensitive content

`Credits.NotEnough`	Insufficient Credits balance	Check seat usage; contact the admin to renew or purchase an add-on package
`Sensitive.Blocked`	Document contains blocked sensitive content	The document was blocked by the security policy; check its content

Identity and permission errors

Code	Description	Suggested action
`Identity.SkRequired`	Member account did not pass an API Key	Pass the API Key via the `APIKey` parameter
`Identity.NotBound`	API Key is not bound to a business identity	Complete API Key binding in the console
`Seat.NotAvailable`	No valid seat bound	Contact the admin to assign a seat in the console
`Forbidden.RAM`	Insufficient RAM permission	Contact the admin to grant the `AliyunRealTranslationAgentFullAccess` permission
`SubAccountNoPermission`	Sub-account has no permission	Contact the Alibaba Cloud account for authorization

Resource and state errors

`Task.NotFound`	Task does not exist or you do not have access	Confirm the TaskId is correct and belongs to the current caller
`Task.NotModifiable`	Task status does not allow modification	Only tasks in progress can be cancelled
`Task.NotSucceeded`	Translation is not complete yet	Wait for the task to complete before downloading the translated file

Throttling

`Throttling`	Requests are too frequent	Reduce the request rate; increase the interval and retry
