When you manage multiple applications across a namespace, repeating the same log collection and probe version setup for each new application adds overhead. Namespace configurations let you define these defaults once at the namespace level so that every new application created in the namespace inherits them automatically.
This feature is currently in the invitational preview stage. To enable it, contact the technical staff in the DingTalk group (Group ID: 32874633).
How it works
Namespace configurations define default settings that new applications in the namespace inherit at creation time. The following configuration types are supported:
Simple Log Service (SLS) log configuration — sets a default log collection destination for applications
Probe version configuration — sets a default probe version for applications
Application-level settings always take priority over namespace-level settings. You can override any namespace default on a per-application basis after the application is created.
Namespace configuration changes apply only to applications created after the change. Existing applications are not affected.
Set namespace configurations
Open the SAE Namespaces console, select the target region, and click the Namespace Name to open the namespace details page.
In the left navigation pane, click Basic Information.
In the Configuration Information area, configure the settings and click OK:
SLS log configuration: Click Create Configuration. For parameter descriptions, see Set up log collection to SLS.
Probe version configuration: Click Create Configuration, enable Custom Probe Version, and select the desired Probe Version.
