You can use a CCN instance to grant cross-account authorization to a CEN instance. After authorization is granted, the CEN instance that belongs to the other account can be attached to your CCN instance to enable communication between the connected networks.
Prerequisites
-
You have the ID of the CEN instance that you want to authorize.
-
You have the account UID of the owner of the CEN instance.
Procedure
-
Log on to the SAG console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, click CCN.
-
In the top navigation bar, select the region where the CCN instance is deployed.
-
On the CCN page, click the ID of the CCN instance.
-
On the details page of the CCN instance, click the CEN Cross Account Authorization Information tab.
-
Click CEN Cross Account Authorization.
-
In the Attach to CEN dialog box, enter the ID of the CEN instance and the UID of the account to which the CEN instance belongs, and then click OK.
A security notice appears on the page: After you grant the authorization, the specified account can attach your CCN instance to its CEN instance. This connects the other account's network to your network. Proceed with caution.
Next steps
After the authorization is granted, the owner of the CEN instance must attach the CCN instance to the CEN instance in the CEN console. You must provide the ID of your CCN instance and the UID of your account to the owner of the CEN instance. For more information, see Attach network instances.
