Smart Access Gateway (SAG) app is a software client that connects enterprise devices to Alibaba Cloud over Cloud Connect Network (CCN). Install it on Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS to give employees secure remote access to private networks.
Use cases
Remote work: Employees working from home or traveling can connect to enterprise networks through the SAG app.
Remote O&M: Operations engineers can access and manage internal resources from any location, without being on-site.

How it works
The SAG app routes device traffic through CCN to reach enterprise networks on Alibaba Cloud. An administrator creates an SAG app instance and configures network access. Employees then install the client and log in with credentials sent to their email.

Set up SAG app
Setup involves administrator tasks and end-user tasks.
Administrator tasks
Create an SAG app instance Purchase the SAG app to create an instance. The instance is the management unit for client accounts and network connections. Only an administrator can complete this step.
Configure networks Associate the SAG app instance with a CCN instance and assign a private CIDR block for client devices.
Create a client account Create an account for each employee who needs access. The system emails the account name, password, and other relevant information to the employee automatically.
End-user tasks
Install the SAG app Download and install the client on your computer or mobile phone. Supported operating systems: Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
Connect to Alibaba Cloud Log in to the SAG app with the account name and password from your email to connect to the enterprise network.
