You can delete a cluster when you no longer need it for your services. This topic describes how to delete a cluster in an ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance.

Prerequisites

  • The ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance that hosts the cluster is in the Running state.

  • The target cluster is in the Running or Suspended state.

Notes

  • Before you delete a cluster, make sure that a default cluster is specified. For more information, see Specify a default cluster.

If a default cluster is not specified, requests to access the deleted cluster will time out.

  • You cannot delete the last remaining pay-as-you-go cluster in a pay-as-you-go instance.

  • You cannot delete the last remaining subscription cluster in a subscription instance.
