When a cluster in your ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance is no longer needed, you can delete it to release resources.
Prerequisites

The ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance that hosts the cluster is in the Running state.

The target cluster is in the Running or Suspended state.
Notes

Before you delete a cluster, make sure that a default cluster is specified. See Specify a default cluster.
If a default cluster is not specified, requests to access the deleted cluster will time out.

You cannot delete the last remaining pay-as-you-go cluster in a pay-as-you-go instance.

You cannot delete the last remaining subscription cluster in a subscription instance.

Procedure
Deleting a cluster permanently removes all its cached data. Stored data is not affected.

Log in to the Alibaba Cloud for SelectDB console.

In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region of the instance.

On the Instances page, click the target Instance ID to go to the Instance Details page.

On the Instance Details page, click Cluster Management in the left-side navigation pane.

On the Cluster Management page, find the target cluster and click Delete in the Actions column.

In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
