Sync SMS templates

Procedure

  1. Log on to Salesforce - CXG and click Setup > SMS Template.

  2. Click Get Template.

Create an SMS template

  1. Log on to Salesforce - CXG and click Setup > SMS Template.

  2. Click Create Template.

  3. Enter the required parameters. In the template, you can insert SMS variables to associate with Salesforce objects. You can also associate them with child objects of the primary object. For example, you can associate the AccountName that is linked to the AccountId in a Contact object.

  4. Click Save. The template is then submitted to Alibaba Cloud SMS for review. After the template is approved, you can use it to send text messages. Alternatively, you can save the template as a draft to edit it later.

Important

To increase the approval rate for your SMS templates, follow the Alibaba Cloud SMS template review rules. When you create a template, you must associate it with an approved SMS signature. This signature is for template approval and is different from the one used to send text messages. If your template includes variables, you must also associate their properties.

Configure the SMS component
