Mobile service monitoring applications manage integrated monitoring data. This topic describes how to add an application.
You cannot add new users for mobile service monitoring applications. If you have already enabled this feature, you can continue to use it.
Prerequisites
A Project has been created. For more information, see Manage Projects.
Add an application
Log on to the Simple Log Service console.
On the tab, click Mobile Service Monitoring.
Click Add Application.
In the Add Application panel, configure the parameters and click OK.
Parameter
Description
Application Name
The name of the mobile service monitoring application.
Application Description
The description of the mobile service monitoring application.
Project
The Project used to store monitoring data.
Region
The region where the selected Project is located.
Select Type
The source of the monitoring data.
Role and Permissions
Simple Log Service uses the AliyunLogETLRole role to access data in a Logstore.
If your Alibaba Cloud account is not granted the AliyunLogETLRole role, click You need to grant the AliyunLogETLRole system role and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the authorization.
If you want to use a Resource Access Management (RAM) user, you must use your Alibaba Cloud account to grant the AliyunLogETLRole role. Then, use the same account to grant the RAM user permissions for data transformation operations. For more information, see Authorize a RAM user to perform data transformation operations.
Obtain the application ID
You can obtain the application ID from the Modify Application panel.
Log on to the Simple Log Service console.
In the Log Application area, click Mobile Service Monitoring.
In the application list, find the target application and click Modify.
In the Modify Application panel, obtain the application ID.
Record this ID. You must enter the ID when you upload data.
