Monitor and audit Simple Log Service
Simple Log Service provides a service log feature and integrates with CloudMonitor to monitor and audit your enterprise data.
Service logs
The service log feature of Simple Log Service records various log data in a project, such as user operation logs, and provides dashboards for multi-dimensional analysis. You can use this feature to monitor the service status of Simple Log Service in real time and improve operations and maintenance (O&M) efficiency.
All log data generated in the current project is classified and saved to specific Logstores. By default, the following two Logstores are created:
internal-diagnostic_log: Records consumer group latency, Logtail heartbeat logs, and task operational logs. These logs are distinguished by topic. The retention period is 30 days and cannot be modified. No fees are incurred.
internal-operation_log: Records operation logs. Each log corresponds to a single request. The default retention period is 30 days and can be modified. The billing method is the same as that for a standard Logstore.
For more information, see Service logs.
CloudMonitor
You can use CloudMonitor to monitor Simple Log Service metrics, such as write traffic, overall queries per second (QPS), and service status. You can also create alert rules to monitor for exceptions in log collection and shard usage.
