After you create an alert rule, you can view its details and the alert history dashboard on the Alert Overview page, where you can also modify or delete the rule.
Prerequisites
You have created an alert rule. For more information, see Set up alerts.View alert rule details
Log on to the Simple Log Service console.
In the Projects section, click the one you want.

- In the navigation pane, click the
icon. - On the Alert Center page, on the Rules/Incidents tab, click Custom Alert (Legacy).
- In the alert rule list, click the target alert rule.
- View the alert rule details.
On the Alert Overview page, the Basic Information section shows the alert rule's details, such as associated dashboard, creation time, last update, evaluation frequency, Status, and Notification Status. The Modify Settings and Delete Alert buttons are in the upper-right corner of the page. The Modify button is to the right of Notification Status.
Modify an alert rule
- On the Alert Overview page, click Modify Configuration.
- Modify the associated chart.
In the Chart Name list, select the target chart.
- Modify the query statement.
- In the Association Chart section, find the query statement that you want to modify and click the
icon.
Note request_method: GETerrorerror| select count(1) as cIf an alert rule uses a query statement, you can only replace it with another query statement. If an alert rule uses a query and analytic statement (query statement|analytic statement), you can only replace it with another query and analytic statement. For example, if you create an alert rule for the query statement , you can change the statement to but not to . - Enter a new query statement and click Preview.
- After the statement passes validation, click OK.
- In the Association Chart section, find the query statement that you want to modify and click the
- Modify the evaluation frequency, trigger condition, notification threshold, and notification interval, and then click Next.

- Modify the notification method and click Submit.

Disable or enable an alert rule
You can disable or enable an alert rule at any time after creating it.
Important When an alert rule is disabled, Simple Log Service stops evaluating it and sending notifications.
On the Alert Overview page, toggle the Status switch to enable or disable the alert rule.
Suspend or resume alert notifications
You can suspend alert notifications only when the alert rule is enabled.
Important While notifications are suspended, Simple Log Service continues to evaluate the alert rule at the specified interval, but does not send notifications even if the trigger condition is met.
- On the Alert Overview page, click Settings to the right of Monitoring Status.
- Set the suspension duration and click OK.
After you suspend alert notifications, you can view the resumption time in the Monitoring Status field. To manually resume notifications before the scheduled time, click Settings to the right of Monitoring Status again.
Delete an alert rule
In the upper-right corner of the Alert Overview page, click Delete Alert.
Warning Deleted alert rules cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution.
