Resource and billing information and limits for Umeng logs-Simple Log Service(SLS)-阿里云帮助中心

Alibaba Cloud Simple Log Service and Umeng offer a real-time log subscription feature. You can use this feature to synchronize various detailed data from the Umeng Data Open Platform (U-DOP) to Simple Log Service in real time with a single click. This enables operations such as real-time log query, visual analytics, alerting, delivery, and processing. This topic describes the resources, billing, and limits for Umeng logs.

Resource description

When you enable the real-time log subscription feature for Umeng, the system automatically creates resources in your selected region. By default, it creates a Project named umeng-regionID-randomNumber and the following LogStores:

dwd_ump_log_uapp_event_json_rt LogStore: Stores real-time log data for U-App mobile applications.
dwd_ump_log_mini_program_event_rt LogStore: Stores real-time log data for U-MiniProgram miniapps.
dwd_ump_log_uweb_rt: Stores real-time detailed data for U-Web websites.

Important

If you previously enabled the pay-by-ingested-data billing method, the system creates a dedicated LogStore that uses this billing method by default. To switch to the pay-by-feature billing method, you can modify the LogStore configuration. For more information, see Modify LogStore configurations.

Billing description

Umeng does not charge extra fees for the real-time log subscription feature.
To enable the real-time log subscription feature, you need to purchase a Simple Log Service resource package to cover basic usage. These fees are charged by Simple Log Service.
When a LogStore uses the pay-by-feature billing method, Simple Log Service charges for feature usage after data is synchronized. For more information, see Billable items for the pay-by-feature billing method.
When a LogStore uses the pay-by-ingested-data billing method, Simple Log Service charges based on factors such as the amount of raw data ingested after data is synchronized. For more information, see Billable items for the pay-by-ingested-data billing method.

Limits

Your Simple Log Service account must be active and have no overdue payments. Otherwise, the log subscription feature is paused.
Currently, only three types of data from Umeng can be synchronized to Simple Log Service: U-App, U-MiniProgram, and U-Web.
