Problem description
During SMC migration, the migration task displays the error message "Client.Block.AbnormalTermination".
Causes
The block replication transfer tool of the source system abnormally exits, crashes, or is terminated by the system.
Solutions
The solutions for different operating systems are as follows:
Windows
Windows VSS snapshot fails to read abnormally. You need to check whether the system VSS has any abnormalities. For VSS troubleshooting, see Error message Client.Snapshot.AccessFailed.
Windows system has insufficient memory resources. The migration process requires certain memory resources. We recommend reserving at least 500 MB of memory.
Linux
Linux system has insufficient memory resources. The migration process requires certain memory resources. We recommend reserving at least 300 MB of memory.
