This topic describes the billing rules for digital messages and card messages. Review these rules before using the service.
Digital message billing rules
Digital messages support two payment methods: resource plans and pay-as-you-go. Choose the method that best fits your message volume and type.
Your monthly bill is finalized before 12:00 PM on the first day of the following month. The fees are deducted from your account balance.
Billing starts after a digital message is sent successfully. You are not charged for failed messages. Fees are aggregated every 5 minutes and billed at the end of the month. For more information, see Bill management.
Resource plans
Offset rule: If your account has no overdue payments and your resource plan is active with remaining quota, the system prioritizes using that quota. Messages sent before you purchased the plan or after the quota is depleted are billed on a pay-as-you-go basis. Fees are deducted from your account balance. Service is suspended for overdue payments.
Offset order: When you send messages, the system uses the quota from the valid resource plan that expires soonest.
Time-to-live (TTL): Digital message resource plans are typically valid for 12 months. Use your message quota before it expires.
Refund policy: You cannot unsubscribe from a used resource plan or extend its validity period to obtain a refund for the remaining resources. For more information, see Refund policy.

Resource plans may have different promotional prices and validity periods based on marketing campaigns. The actual price is subject to the information displayed on the purchase page when you log on.
Pay-as-you-go
The default price for digital messages is 0.4 CNY per message.
Card message billing rules
Billing starts after a card message is sent or rendered successfully. You are not charged for failed sending or rendering. Fees are aggregated every 5 minutes and billed at the end of the month. For more information, see Bill management.
