A card message template defines the content of your message. Before you can send a card message, you must add a template and have it approved.
Prerequisites

You have activated Short Message Service.
Contact your account manager to enable card messages.
Usage
You can use a template only after it is approved.
You can use templates to send messages only to numbers in the Chinese mainland.
Review the card message events supported by mobile device manufacturers. If your template includes an event that a manufacturer does not support, the platform will not submit the template to that provider for review.
Template content must comply with the card message template specifications.
Refer to the card message template examples for guidance when creating your own template.
Procedure
- Log on to the Short Message Service console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose , and then click Add Template.
Select a template type and configure the template based on the on-screen instructions.
Text settings: Set the title and content. Variable parameters are supported. The character limit varies by template type. Refer to the console for the specific limit.
Image settings: Upload an image and select a click event type.
NoteWhen the event type is Redirect to H5, the destination URL cannot trigger a download or open an app. To trigger a download or open an app, use the Open in Browser event type.
Video settings: Upload a video and a video cover.
Button settings: Set the button name and select a click event type. The button name supports variable parameters.
Parameter settings: You can insert variable parameters in the text, buttons, and links. Click Manage Parameters and configure the parameters according to the on-screen Usage Help.
NoteParameter names can contain only alphanumeric characters, must begin with a letter, and cannot exceed 10 characters.
The preceding settings are common configurations for card message templates. For more configuration options, refer to the settings displayed in the console.
After configuring the card message, click Preview to see how it will appear.
When you are satisfied with the preview, click Submit for Review. Enter the Template Name, Template Purpose, and Use Case, select a signature, and then click OK.
After you submit the template, it enters the review process. The review statuses are as follows:
under review: The review is in progress.
approved: At least one provider has approved the template.
rejected: All providers rejected the template.
