A rich media message template defines the content of your message. Before you send a rich media message, you must create a rich media message template and have it approved. This topic describes how to add a rich media message template.
Prerequisites

You have registered an Alibaba Cloud account and completed real-name verification.

You have activated Short Message Service. For more information, see Short Message Service.

Contact your account manager to enable the rich media message feature.
Usage

You can use a rich media message template only after it is approved.

You can use rich media message templates only for messages sent to recipients in the Chinese mainland.

The template content must comply with the rich media message template specifications.
Procedure
- Log on to the Short Message Service console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose .

On the Template management tab, click Add template.

Select a template type, and then enter a template name and configure the template content.

Select rich media message.
Template name
Enter a name for the template.
Associated signature
Select an approved signature. Associating a relevant signature improves the template's approval rate.
Template content
Select the media type for the content you want to upload.
Supported media types include text, image, audio, and video.
NoteClick Add media to add more content of different media types.
Description
Describe the use case for this template. Providing supporting information, such as a product URL, app name, official social media account, or your full company name, facilitates the review process.

Review your settings and click Submit. The system then submits it for review.
