Supported regions
This topic describes the security capabilities that IoT Security Operations Hub supports in different regions.
Concept
A region is a geographical area where a data center is located. Regions are typically named after the cities where their data centers are located. For example, the China (Shanghai) region indicates that its data center is in Shanghai, China.
How to choose a region
You must select a deployment region when you create or purchase an Alibaba Cloud resource. The region cannot be changed after the resource is created or purchased.
Consider the following factors when you select a region:

Dependencies between products | Select the same region as your Alibaba Cloud IoT Platform. |
Geographical location | Data security requirements: Select a region based on the data security requirements of your country or area. |
Network latency: The closer your users are to the resource deployment region, the lower the network latency and the faster the access speed. Select a region based on the latency requirements of your business scenario. | |
