Create an authorization object
The authorization management feature lets you define authorization objects. You can attach multiple APIs to a single authorization object. After an API subscriber creates an application, the API publisher can create an authorization object for that application.
Procedure
Log on to the gateway console.
In the navigation pane on the left, click API Publish > Authorization Management.
In the upper-right corner of the authorization list, click Create Authorization Object.
In the Create Authorization Object window, select or enter the required information:
Application Source: Required.
External System: Grants authorization for application subscriptions from other tenants.
Internal System: Application subscriptions granted to the current tenant in the current environment.
For applications from an external system, enter the APPID. The application name and type are automatically retrieved.
NoteAfter an application is created, the system automatically assigns an APPID to it. You can find the APPID on the application details page under API Subscription > Application Management.
For applications from an internal system, enter the Application Name. The APPID and type are automatically retrieved.
Company/Department: Optional. Identifies the company or department that owns the application.
Description: Optional. Enter a description for the authorization object.
Click OK to create the authorization object.
After you create the authorization object, you can attach APIs.
