This topic describes the test results for high-performance instances of Tablestore.
For a single partition, if the latency for random writes does not change significantly under a higher load, this indicates that the backend resources for the partition are sufficient. The Queries Per Second (QPS) will continue to increase as the load increases.
For a single partition, if random write latency increases with the load, this indicates that requests are starting to queue on the server side. As the load increases further, the QPS may not increase at the same rate.
This was not a stress test to determine the product's limits for each partition. The test did not trigger the server-side throttling controls of Tablestore. The automatic load balancing feature of Tablestore ensures that a single table's service can scale horizontally.
