Refund rules for converting from subscription to pay-as-you-go
When you convert a subscription instance to pay-as-you-go, Alibaba Cloud refunds the unused portion of your subscription fee. You can convert at any time after the instance is created.
Refund rules
-
After you create a subscription cloud product instance, you can switch its billing method to pay-as-you-go. This lets you recover costs and use resources more flexibly. The remaining subscription fee is refunded after the conversion.
-
When you switch the billing method for a subscription Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instance, a monthly quota applies. The quota is based on your historical spending. The specific quota is displayed on the page. If you exceed the monthly quota, you cannot perform another conversion within the same month. The quota is reset on the first day of the next month. For more information about the quota, see Limits.

-
Amount paid, also known as the "cash amount payable for the order", is the amount paid in cash for an order. It does not include deductions from vouchers or coupons.
