Before you can call features of the Visual Intelligence API, you must activate the AI categories that contain those features. After you activate an AI category, you can call all the features within it. This topic describes the available AI categories and provides links to activate them.
If your API call returns an error message similar to the following, it means the required AI category is not activated for your account. You must activate the category to proceed.

Face and body (facebody)
To activate features in the face and body category, click Activate Now.
OCR (ocr)
To activate features in the OCR category, click Activate Now.
Commodity understanding (goodstech)
To activate features in the commodity understanding category, click Activate Now.
Content moderation (imageaudit)
To activate features in the content moderation category, click Activate Now.
Image recognition (imagerecog)
To activate features in the image recognition category, click Activate Now.
Image production (imageenhan)
To activate features in the image production category, click Activate Now.
Segmentation and matting (imageseg)
To activate features in the segmentation and matting category, click Activate Now.
Object detection (objectdet)
To activate features in the object detection category, click Activate Now.
Video understanding (videorecog)
To activate features in the video understanding category, click Activate Now.
