Specification

This topic describes the output specifications for transcoded audio and video. Transcoding fees vary based on the output specification. For more information about billing, see Billing of media asset transcoding.

Important
  • The output resolution ranges use closed and open intervals.

  • For the corresponding definition values in the following table, see Definition.

  • The output specification and definition are determined by the resolution range, which is based on the long and short edges of the video. If the long or short edge of the output video exceeds the specified range, a higher specification and definition are used.
