When a requested resource is not cached on a CDN node, the node retrieves it from the origin server using the same protocol as the client request. If the client uses HTTPS, the back-to-origin request also uses HTTPS, and vice versa for HTTP.
Procedure
Your origin server must support both port 80 and port 443. Otherwise, back-to-origin requests may fail.
-
Log in to the ApsaraVideo VOD console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, under Configuration Management, click CDN Configuration > Domain Names.
-
Find the domain name that you want to configure and click Configure in the Actions column.
-
Click Back-to-Origin and turn on the Use Request Protocol for Back-to-Source switch.
NoteAfter you enable the Use Request Protocol for Back-to-Source feature, it applies to both dynamic acceleration and static acceleration. The back-to-origin request then uses the same protocol as the client's request.
