Configure custom error pages for your CDN domain name. When a web request returns an error, users are automatically redirected to the custom page instead of the default error page.
Default and custom error pages
Two error page types are available for HTTP status codes. The 404 status code illustrates the difference:

Default: The server returns its built-in 404 Not Found page.

Custom: The user is redirected to a page you specify. You must provide the full URL of the target page.

Alibaba Cloud provides a free public 404 page.

Custom pages are billed at standard data transfer rates.

Procedure

Log in to the ApsaraVideo VOD console.

In the left-side navigation pane, under Configuration Management, click CDN Configuration > Domain Names.

Find the domain name that you want to configure and click Configure in the Actions column.

Click Cache, and on the Custom Error Pages tab, click Add.

Select an Error Code, enter the custom URL, and click OK.
For the 404 error code, a free public 404 page is available. To use it, select Join NotFound Project and click OK.
