You can export media asset information in bulk from ApsaraVideo VOD to CSV files for data backup, content auditing, and operational analysis.
Method comparison
Two export methods are available: Export from data center and Export from media asset library.

Procedure
Export from data center

Log in to the ApsaraVideo VOD console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Center > Export Media Data.

Click Create Export Task and configure the following parameters.

Description
Task Name
The task name.
Media Type
The type of media assets to export. Valid values: Video, Audio, Image, Video/Audio, and Attached Media.
NoteIn a single export task, you can export a maximum of 100,000 audio or video files, 20,000 images, or 20,000 media assets of other types.
Time Range
The time range during which the media assets were stored in ApsaraVideo VOD. Valid values:

All: exports all media assets of the specified type.

Custom: exports media assets of the specified type created within the specified time period.
Media Name
A keyword to filter media assets by name. For example, enter "animation" to export only media assets whose names contain that keyword.

Click OK. The task begins, and its status changes to Processing.

Export duration depends on the media type, time range, and number of assets. After the status changes to The export operation has been completed., click Download to download the CSV file.

You can perform the following actions on a task in the task list:

Download: Download the CSV file to your local machine.

Cancel: Stop a task that is in the Processing state.

Delete: Remove the exported CSV file after the task is complete.
NoteExported files consume storage space and incur charges. Delete the files after downloading them to reduce storage costs.

Export media assets from the media asset library
-
If no accelerated domain name is configured, the exported data includes the following fields: Media ID, Media Name, Duration (in seconds), Size (in bytes), Category Tag, Creation Time, and Last update information. After you configure an accelerated domain name, video stream URLs are also included, covering transcoded and non-transcoded versions but excluding the source file URL.

Log in to the ApsaraVideo VOD console.

In the left-side navigation pane, under Media Files, click Audio/Video, Image, or Short Video Material.

On the list page, click Export in the upper-right corner to export all media assets that match the current filter criteria.
Alternatively, on the Audio/Video page, select the checkboxes of specific files and click Export at the bottom of the list to export only the selected media assets.

Your browser automatically downloads the CSV file. You can find it in your browser's download history.
Limits
The following limits apply when you export from the data center:
This feature is currently available only in the China (Shanghai) and China (Beijing) regions.

You can export a maximum of 100,000 audio or video files and 20,000 images or other media assets per task.

You can create a maximum of 100 export tasks per day.
Billing
The export feature is free to use. However, files exported from the data center consume storage space and are billed at standard media asset storage billing rates.
FAQ
Missing source file URL in exported files
The export feature is not designed for resource migration. To migrate resources, see ApsaraVideo VOD resource migration.
Handling export task failures
To troubleshoot the issue, check the following:

Check whether the number of media assets to export exceeds the limit.

Check whether the number of export tasks created today has reached the daily limit.
