Billing and package center (pay-as-you-go 2.0)

After you purchase a Web Application Firewall (WAF) pay-as-you-go 2.0 instance, you need to enable the corresponding protection features by modifying the package in the Billing and Package Center. This topic describes how to enable and adjust the required protection features in the Billing and Package Center.

Prerequisites

  • Your WAF instance is a pay-as-you-go 2.0 instance.

  • Your website has been added to WAF. For more information, see Tutorials.

Enable features by modifying your package

  1. Log on to the Web Application Firewall console.

  2. In the left navigation pane, choose Systems > Billing and Package Center.

  3. Billing and Package CenterEnabled featuresModify packageOn the page, locate the section and click in the upper-right corner.
  4. Modify packageOn the page, configure the features and specifications for your WAF instance.
    Modify packageThe page describes each feature and its associated costs. On this page, you can:
    • Enable a feature by selecting its checkbox. For more information on the features available with the pay-as-you-go 2.0 billing method, see Package and edition overview.
    • Disable a feature by clearing its checkbox.
    • System specificationsIn the section, increase or decrease the log storage capacity and the number of dashboard service units.
    • Domains and dedicated IP addresses are billed based on usage and do not require manual configuration.
    Note Modify packageAfter you modify features and their specifications, your bill changes accordingly. The cost estimation section at the top of the page shows your estimated bill.
  5. Confirm changesClick .
    Real-time billAfter you modify the package features and specifications, the section shows the latest estimated bill.
    Billing and Package CenterOn the page, you can also view daily bills, which are generated based on your enabled features and service traffic.
    • Real-time bill: Shows the bill for the current day to date.
    • Enabled features: Lists all enabled features.
    • Bill List: Lists historical daily bills.

      You can click View Details in the Actions column of the target bill to view the bill details.

What to do next

To use the enabled features, configure them on the Web Application Firewall console.
