Wuying App Center is a tool that helps administrators distribute and manage applications. It contains applications provided by Wuying and applications uploaded by administrators. You can manage applications in the App Center or on your cloud computer just as you would on a physical computer. This topic describes how to manage applications on a cloud computer that runs the Windows operating system.
The supported features may vary slightly depending on the Wuying App Center version. This topic uses Wuying App Center V2.2.2 as an example. The information displayed on the actual interface prevails.
Wuying App Center is continuously optimized to improve the user experience. For the best experience, install or update to the latest version.
If you do not have download permission, or if an application requires a license during download and installation, contact an administrator for help.
Manage applications
Install an application
Install from Wuying App Center
Connect to the cloud computer. On the desktop of the cloud computer, double-click the
icon to open Wuying App Center.In the left navigation pane of AppCenter, click Application List.
You can search for an application in the search box or browse the application type tabs.
Click Download on the card for the target application.
After the application is downloaded, click Install and follow the on-screen instructions.
Install using other methods
Copy the installation package from your local computer to the cloud computer and install it.
NoteIf you cannot copy files from your local computer to the cloud computer, contact an administrator to configure local disk mapping permissions. If you use the Web Client to connect to the cloud computer, also enable the Web Client File Transfer permission by setting it to Allow Upload or Allow Upload and Download.
Copy the installation package from a USB flash drive to the cloud computer and install it.
NoteIf the cloud computer cannot read a USB device that is connected to your local terminal, contact an administrator to enable the USB redirection feature.
Access the Internet from the cloud computer to download and install the application.
NoteIf you cannot access the Internet, contact an administrator to configure the network. For more information, see FAQ.
Update an application
For the best experience and access to the latest features, update your applications promptly.
Connect to the cloud computer. On the desktop of the cloud computer, double-click the
icon to open Wuying App Center.In the navigation pane on the left of AppCenter, click My Applications.
On the Application Updates tab, follow the on-screen instructions to update the application.
Uninstall an application
You can uninstall applications that you no longer use to free up disk space on your cloud computer.
Connect to the cloud computer. On the desktop of the cloud computer, double-click the
icon to open Wuying App Center.In the navigation pane on the left of AppCenter, click My Applications.
On the All Applications tab, find the application that you want to uninstall and click Uninstall.
Alternatively, find the application in the cloud computer's Start menu. Right-click the application, select Uninstall, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Update Wuying App Center
For the best experience when you manage and use applications, keep Wuying App Center updated to the latest version.
Connect to the cloud computer. On the desktop of the cloud computer, double-click the
icon to open Wuying App Center.Choose one of the following methods to update Wuying App Center:
Push update
When a new version of Wuying App Center is available, a pop-up window appears. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
Manual update
In the left navigation pane of AppCenter, click About.
On the Version Information tab, click Check for Updates.
If a new version is available, click Download Now in the dialog box that appears and follow the prompts to install it.
Submit feedback
If you encounter a problem with the Wuying App Center, click Feedback in the lower-left corner of the AppCenter and follow the on-screen instructions to submit your feedback.
