The WUYING Deployment Tool scans peripherals that are connected to your local computer and checks their availability in WUYING Workspace. After the check is complete, you can use the tool to batch upload device drivers to your enterprise driver library. This process centralizes driver management and improves the efficiency and stability of connecting peripherals to WUYING Workspace.
Prerequisites
Install the WUYING Deployment Tool on your local computer. To download the tool, visit WUYING Deployment Tool Download.
NoteThe WUYING Deployment Tool supports only the Windows operating system.
Log on to the WUYING Deployment Tool using a deployment authorization code.
NoteAuthorization code: This code allows service personnel to log on to the WUYING Deployment Tool and assist with pre-sales surveys and deployment.
Validity period: The authorization code is valid for 7 days by default and auto-refreshes upon expiration.
Obtain the authorization code: Log on to the WUYING Workspace Enterprise Edition console or the WUYING Workspace Business Edition console with an Alibaba Cloud account. On the Overview page, find the code in the Deployment Authorization Code area.


Procedure
Step 1: Get and export local peripheral information
You can use the WUYING Deployment Tool to scan peripherals that are connected to your local computer. You can export details such as device name, brand, model, type, Vendor ID (VID), and Product ID (PID).
Open the WUYING Deployment Tool.
In the Get Local Peripheral Information area of the Wuying Deployment Tool, click the
icon.On the Get Local Peripheral Information page, you can view the information of the scanned devices.
To export device information, perform the following steps:
Select one or more devices and click Export Device Information.
Choose a path to save the file and confirm the file name.
Click Save.
Step 2: Query peripheral availability
You can use the WUYING Deployment Tool to check the availability of a peripheral in WUYING Workspace. You can perform the query using the VID and PID of the device.
Open the WUYING Deployment Tool.
In the Peripheral and Printer Deployment area in the Wuying Deployment Tool, click the
icon.On the Peripheral and Printer Deployment page, query peripheral availability using one of the following methods:
NoteIf a peripheral cannot be connected to your local computer, obtain its device information and use the manual query method.
Online device list
Click the Online Devices tab. Check the device information area. If the WUYING Certified label appears in the upper-right corner, the device is running in WUYING Workspace.
Manual query
Click Query Peripheral Availability.
On the Query Peripheral Availability page, you can select a device type and enter the peripheral information:

Click Query Availability.
Step 3: Scan and upload drivers
After a device passes the availability check, you can use the WUYING Deployment Tool to scan its driver. Then, you can create a driver-to-device mapping and upload the driver to your enterprise driver library.
Open the WUYING Deployment Tool.
In the Peripheral and Printer Deployment area in the Wuying Deployment Tool, click the
icon.On the Peripheral and Printer Deployment page, you can use one of the following methods to scan and upload the driver:
Attach a mapping and upload the driver
On the Peripheral and Printer Deployment page, click the Online Devices tab.
In the target device's information area, click Upload Driver.
On the Driver Scan and Upload page, click Upload This Driver.
Upload a driver
The Scan and Upload Local Installed Drivers option uploads peripheral drivers to the enterprise driver library without attaching a driver-to-device mapping.
Open the WUYING Deployment Tool.
Click Scan and Upload Local Installed Drivers in the upper-right corner of the Peripheral and Printer Deployment page.
On the Batch Scan and Upload Drivers page, select one of the following device types to scan and upload drivers for:
Printers
Other peripherals
Read and agree to the Driver Migration Privacy Protocol and click Scan Now.
On the driver upload page, select one or more of the drivers that are found.
Click Upload Now.
