WUYING hardware terminals are a series of proprietary terminal products developed by WUYING designed to connect to and access WUYING cloud services. These terminals include models such as WUYING Magic Cube, WUYING Magic Cube Pro, WUYING Magic Cube Ultra, and WUYING Ark Pro.

Enterprise Edition hardware terminal management capabilities

WUYING Workspace Enterprise Edition supports terminal management, which allows an Enterprise Edition administrator to register hardware terminals used by employees within their organization. The administrator can then apply terminal policies to control the user experience and security boundaries of these terminals. Enterprise Edition administrators can organize managed hardware terminals into groups and assign different terminal policies to each group as needed.

Terminal mode
Terminal mode	PC mode: The standard mode for using cloud desktops.	All models	V7.5
	Background mode: A special mode for WUYING hardware terminals that automatically connects to a running cloud desktop and hides the management and interaction interface from the end user. This mode provides stability, privacy, scalability, and ease of O&M. It is ideal for scenarios such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) that require a clean IP address. After you enable Background mode, the following option is available: Screen saver text: Customize the screen saver text (2 to 25 characters, Chinese and English only). Note After you enable Background mode, ensure that no scheduled disconnection tasks are triggered for the cloud desktop. Do not log off from the terminal. Disabling Background mode does not take effect immediately. You must shut down or restart the terminal for the change to take effect.	All models	V7.5
	Screen casting mode: When enabled, the terminal acts only as a screen casting receiver. Note In Screen casting mode, you must disable the screen lock and manual lock features. Otherwise, screen casting does not work. To cast a screen, the sender clicks Screen Casting in the cloud desktop's floating ball menu and enters the casting code displayed on the terminal. The Enterprise Edition administrator must first enable the Screen Casting option in the cloud desktop policy. After you enable Screen casting mode, the following options are available: Casting text: The casting text defaults to the Terminal Alias. The Enterprise Edition administrator can edit this in the hardware terminal list. Casting wallpaper Default wallpaper Custom wallpaper: Upload a custom wallpaper from your local device. Specified Wi-Fi network settings	This configuration item appears if you set Wi-Fi to Administrator-configured (prioritize connection to a specified Wi-Fi network). Click Add Wi-Fi Network to add a Wi-Fi network to prioritize. After you add the network, the hardware terminal prioritizes connecting to this network when it is detected. However, the end user can still manually switch to other networks. Note You can add only one specified Wi-Fi network.	All models	V7.12

Scaling ratio settings	This configuration item appears if you set Scaling ratio to Administrator-controlled. It specifies the UI scaling ratio of the hardware terminal. Note This setting controls the scaling ratio of the hardware terminal's display. The cloud desktop inherits this scaling ratio by default. However, an Enterprise Edition administrator can also set a custom scaling ratio for the cloud desktop, which takes priority over the terminal policy setting.	All models	V7.0

Screen lock management
Screen lock settings	If disabled, the end user cannot configure an automatic screen lock or a screen lock password in . If enabled, the end user must set a screen lock password to use the automatic idle lock and manual lock features. Note If Screen casting mode is enabled, you cannot enable this option. Disable Screen casting mode and then enable this option.	All models	V6.8
Manual screen lock	This configuration item appears if Screen lock settings is disabled. If disabled, the terminal does not respond to any screen lock operations. If enabled, the terminal still responds to lock actions such as closing the lid, pressing a keyboard shortcut, or short-pressing the power button. No password is required to unlock. Note If Screen casting mode is enabled, you cannot enable this option. Disable Screen casting mode and then enable this option.	All models	V7.12

Unlock method	This configuration item appears if Screen lock settings is enabled. Note This feature is currently in invitational preview. To use this feature, submit a ticket to request access. Unlock with convenience account or AD account password: This setting takes effect only on hardware terminals running V7.12 or later. On earlier versions, this option is not supported and the screen lock remains user-defined. The screen can be locked only when a user is logged on. The screen cannot be locked if no user is logged on. Automatic logon, PIN unlock, and fingerprint ID are automatically disabled. Do not use this method with SSO accounts or passwordless logon. Doing so causes a conflict that disables the screen lock feature.	All models	V7.12
Automatic idle lock	Options: End user-defined Administrator-controlled If you select Administrator-controlled, you must select Never lock or a specific idle duration. When there is no keyboard or mouse activity for the specified duration, the hardware terminal automatically locks. Idle timeout power configuration	This configuration item appears if you set Idle timeout power policy to Administrator-controlled. If you select Disable, no power management action is performed, regardless of how long the terminal is idle.	All models	V6.8
If idle time exceeds	This option appears if the Idle timeout power configuration switch is turned on. It specifies the duration of inactivity (no keyboard or mouse input) on the hardware terminal before the power action is triggered. Important This setting also applies when the terminal is connected to a cloud desktop. If there is no keyboard or mouse activity for the specified duration, the power action is triggered. Then automatically perform power action	This configuration item appears if the Idle timeout power configuration switch is turned on. Terminal system settings lock
Terminal system settings lock	Controls whether the terminal's settings page is locked. Note Settings that are controlled by the administrator cannot be modified by the end user, regardless of this option. Disabled by default, which means end users can directly modify policies that are configured as end user-defined. If enabled, end users must enter the management password set by the Enterprise Edition administrator to access the terminal's settings page.
