The image center manages all images available to your team. Use these images to deploy workstations or create cluster schedulers. This topic covers how to browse and manage images, deploy a workstation from an image, and copy an image ID for use in a cluster scheduler.
Image types
The image center provides two categories, each with up to 10 images:
-
My images: Workstation images you saved. Only you can see them.
-
Team images: Images shared from My images to the team. All team members can see and use them.
Custom images are created from a workstation through the Save image operation. See Save as a custom image.
View and manage images
-
Sign in to the Lincore Team Edition console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, click Image center.
-
Switch to the My images or Team images tab.
On an image card, you can:
-
View image information: See the image name, description, and built-in application services such as JupyterLab and ComfyUI.
-
Copy image ID: Copy the image ID to use when creating a cluster scheduler.
-
Deploy workstation from image: Deploy a new workstation that uses this image.
-
Share to team: Move an image from My images to Team images so all team members can use it.
-
Delete image: Delete unneeded images to free up your image quota.
Use an image
Deploy a workstation from an image
On the My images or Team images tab, find the target image and click
on its card. The rest of the flow matches standard workstation deployment, but you do not need to choose an image again. See Deploy a workstation.
Copy image ID
On the image card, click the
icon next to the image ID to copy it. Use the copied ID to specify the node image when you Create a scheduler.
Billing
The image center is free of charge. Image storage is included in the free storage that comes with each team.
