Use the WUYING Workspace antivirus service

The antivirus feature is based on Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). It integrates the Alibaba Cloud malicious file detection platform and automatically uses the latest Alibaba Cloud virus engine to protect your enterprise endpoints and prevent major business losses. This topic describes how to use the antivirus service in WUYING Workspace Enterprise Edition.

This feature is in invitational preview and is not publicly available.

Prerequisites

Your existing cloud desktop images must be upgraded to version 2.1.0 or later. For more information about how to upgrade images, see Upgrade images.

Enable the antivirus service

  1. Log on to the Elastic Desktop Service Enterprise console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Security & Audits > Antivirus.

  3. If this is your first time using the antivirus service, on the Antivirus page, click Enable Now, and then click Add Office Network.

  4. In the Select Office Network dialog box, select a region and the office network for which to enable the antivirus service, and then click OK.

  5. In the Virus Defense section, click Scan Now.

    If this is the first scan, click OK in the Authorization dialog box.

  6. On the Select Scan Scope panel, select an account type and the corresponding scan scope, and then click OK.

Scan for viruses

  1. Log on to the Elastic Desktop Service Enterprise console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Security & Audits > Antivirus.

  3. Perform one of the following actions:

    Scan now

    1. In the Virus Defense section, click Scan Now.

      If this is the first scan, click OK in the Authorization dialog box.

    2. On the Select Scan Scope panel, select an account type and the corresponding scan scope, and then click OK.

    Scheduled scan

    1. In the Virus Defense section, click Scheduled Scan.

    2. On the Scheduled Scan page, click Create Scheduled Scan.

      If this is the first scan, click OK in the Authorization dialog box.

    3. On the Create Scheduled Scan panel, configure the following settings and click OK.

      Parameter

      Description

      Task Name

      The custom name of the scheduled scan task. The name can be up to 128 characters in length and can contain Chinese characters, letters, digits, underscores (_), and hyphens (-).

      Task Frequency

      Select the frequency for the scheduled scan task, such as every 3 days, and the time range for each scan, such as 00:00 to 06:00.

      Account Type

      Select the type of end user account. Valid values are Convenience Account and AD Domain Account. If you select AD Domain Account, you must also select a specific AD domain.

      Scan Scope

      Select the organization to which the end users belong.

      After a scheduled scan task is created, it appears in the table on the Scheduled Scan page. On this page, you can disable, enable, edit, copy, or delete the scheduled scan task.

View scan tasks

You can view the details of running or completed scan tasks.

  1. Log on to the Elastic Desktop Service Enterprise console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Security & Audits > Antivirus.

  3. In the Virus Defense section, click View Tasks.

  4. On the View Tasks panel, view the details of the scan tasks, such as the task name, task time, task type, and task status.

    To cancel a running task, click Cancel Task in the Actions column.

Handle virus scan results

If viruses are detected, handle them immediately to protect your cloud desktop environment and data. In the Virus Defense section, click Process Now. You will be redirected to the SASE console to handle the viruses. For more information, see View virus statistics.
