Scan and upload drivers
The WUYING Deployment Tool helps you quickly scan peripherals connected to your local computer and check their availability in WUYING Workspace. After verification, you can use this tool to batch upload device drivers to your enterprise driver library, enabling centralized management of driver resources and significantly improving the efficiency and stability of peripheral access to WUYING Workspace.
Prerequisites

Install the WUYING Deployment Tool on your local computer. To obtain the tool, visit WUYING Deployment Tool download.
NoteThe WUYING Deployment Tool currently supports only Windows operating systems.

Log on to the WUYING Deployment Tool using a delegated deployment authorization code.
Note-
Authorization code: Service personnel can use this code to log on to the WUYING Deployment Tool and assist you with pre-sales assessments and deployment tasks.

Authorization code validity period: Defaults to 7 days and auto-refreshes upon expiration.
To obtain an authorization code, log on to the WUYING Workspace Enterprise Edition console or the WUYING Workspace Business Edition console using your Alibaba Cloud account. On the Overview page, go to the Delegated Deployment Authorization Code section. In the WUYING Workspace Enterprise Edition console, view and copy the Delegated Deployment Authorization Code from the lower-right corner of the Overview page. In the WUYING Workspace Business Edition console, view and copy it from the upper-right corner of the Overview page.

Procedure
Step 1: Get and export local peripheral information
Use the WUYING Deployment Tool to scan peripherals connected to your local computer and one-click export detailed information such as device name, brand, model, type, VID (vendor ID), and PID (product ID).

Open the WUYING Deployment Tool.

In the Local Peripheral Information Retrieval section of the WUYING Deployment Tool, click the
icon. -
On the Local Peripheral Information Retrieval page, view the scanned device information. After scanning completes, the page displays a list of detected peripherals, including columns for Device Name, Device Brand, Device Type, VID, and PID. Buttons for Start Peripheral and Printer Deployment and Rescan appear at the top of the page.

To export device information, do the following:

Select one or more devices and click Export Device Information.

Choose a file save path and confirm the file name.

Click Save.

Step 2: Check peripheral availability
Use the WUYING Deployment Tool to check whether a peripheral can work properly in WUYING Workspace using its VID and PID.

Open the WUYING Deployment Tool.

In the Peripheral and Printer Deployment section of the WUYING Deployment Tool, click the
icon. -
On the Peripheral and Printer Deployment page, choose one of the following methods to check peripheral availability:
NoteIf the peripheral is not currently connected to your local computer, obtain its device information and use manual query.
Online device list
Click the Online Devices tab and view the device information area. If the Certified by WUYING tag appears in the upper-right corner, the device works properly in WUYING Workspace.
Manual query

Click Peripheral Availability Query.

On the Peripheral Availability Query page, select a device type and enter peripheral information:

Step 3: Scan and upload drivers
After a device passes availability verification, use the WUYING Deployment Tool to scan its peripheral driver, establish a mapping between the driver and the device, and upload it to your enterprise driver library.

Open the WUYING Deployment Tool.

In the Peripheral and Printer Deployment section of the WUYING Deployment Tool, click the
icon. -
On the Peripheral and Printer Deployment page, choose one of the following methods to scan and upload drivers:
Bind mapping and upload driver

On the Peripheral and Printer Deployment page, click the Online Devices tab in the upper-left corner.

In the target device information area, click Upload Driver.

On the Driver Scan and Upload page, click Upload This Driver.
Upload driver
Scan and Upload Locally Installed Drivers uploads peripheral drivers to your enterprise driver library without binding them to specific devices.

Open the WUYING Deployment Tool.

On the Peripheral and Printer Deployment page, click Scan and Upload Locally Installed Drivers in the upper-right corner.

On the Batch Driver Scan and Upload page, select one of the following device types to scan and upload:

Printer devices

Other peripherals

Read and accept the Driver Migration Privacy Agreement, then click Scan Now.

On the driver upload page, select one or more found drivers.

Click Upload Now.
