Repository commit activity
This topic explains how to view commit activity in your repositories, covering both personal and per-repository commit volumes.
Prerequisite: Alibaba Cloud DevOps Insights only collects data from repositories in your organization that have Insight reports enabled. To track commit volume using DevOps Insights, ensure the Insight reports service is enabled for the relevant repositories. For more information, see Instructions.
Personal commit volume
To view your personal commit volume, go to Alibaba Cloud DevOps Insights and select .
The page displays the Work Item Status Overview (total backlog, pending, in progress, overdue), statistics for Completed Work Items (requirements, bugs, tasks, overdue completions), Requirement Trend and Bug Trend line charts, and a Code Commit Volume heatmap at the bottom. Use the time range drop-down list in the upper-right corner to filter the data by a specific period, such as Last 14 Days.
Commit volume by repository

In the Activities feed for a group or repository, you can filter the feed to view commit details.
Use the filter panel to filter by Type (for example, Push), Operator, and Time Range (start date - end date). Click Clear all filters to reset. The activity list shows the target branch, commit message, and operation time for each commit.

To view the data in a visual report, go to Alibaba Cloud DevOps Insights and select .
On the Code Metrics Report page, select a date range and repository at the top. The main content area displays the Repository Overview (lines of code, existing issues), the Code Change Overview (number of commits, changed lines of code, average changed lines per commit), and visualizations such as the Code Commit Time Distribution heatmap, the Changed Lines of Code Trend bar chart, and charts for Changed Lines of Code by Repository and Code Commits by Repository. These charts visualize the commit volume for each repository.
