Iteration lock

The iteration owner, project administrator, or organization administrator can lock an iteration from the iteration list, planning page, or details page.

On the planning page, click the action menu in the top-right corner of an iteration and select Lock Iteration from the drop-down list. Once an iteration is locked, users cannot move requirements into or out of it.

In the iteration list, click the Lock icon on the right side of the target iteration's row. A prompt appears: "This iteration is not locked. Click to lock."

• The lock does not apply to users with management permissions, including the iteration owner, project administrator, and organization administrator.

• Once an iteration is locked, affected users are notified and prevented from moving requirements into or out of it.

• You can unlock an iteration at any time to remove the planning restrictions.
