Text and paragraph formats
Collaborative documents are the core of the Apsara DevOps knowledge base, which makes document editing a critical feature. The online documents support various content formats that fall into two main categories: text formats and paragraph formats.
Text formats
Text formats include bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, links, code, and colors. Select text to open the text format toolbar and apply a format.
Paragraph formats
Paragraph formats are available in three types: common content, media content, and associated content.
Click the
icon that appears to the left of a paragraph to select a different paragraph format.
Common formats include: Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, block quote, bulleted list, numbered list, checklist, and divider.
1. Common content formats
Common content formats mainly include Level 1 to 3 headings, lists, block quotes, and dividers.
A block quote is displayed with a purple vertical line on the left. Bulleted lists and numbered lists support nesting sub-level lists by pressing the Tab key. A checklist uses checkboxes to mark items as incomplete or complete.
2. Media content
Media content includes images, tables, code blocks, attachments, and mathematical formulas.
Image: After you upload an image, you can align it (left, right, or center) and adjust its size.
Table: You can use tables to organize structured content.
Code block: Code is automatically highlighted as you type.
function hello () { console.log('Hello, Thoughts!') }Attachment: After you upload a file, you can preview or download it.
Mathematical formula: You can insert mathematical formulas.
3. Associated content formats
You can use this format to associate existing content with an online document. This avoids the need to maintain multiple copies of the same content. You can associate content such as documents, folders, and files from the Apsara DevOps knowledge base, along with tasks, schedules, files, and folders from Apsara DevOps.
