ack-helm-manager

Introduction

You can install custom charts to gain custom capabilities. To do this, you must first install the ack-helm-manager add-on from the Add-ons page. This add-on lets you manage and deploy custom charts.

Prerequisites

Procedure

Follow these steps to install the ack-helm-manager add-on:

1. Log on to the ACK console. In the left navigation pane, click Clusters.

2. On the Clusters page, click the name of your cluster. In the left navigation pane, click Components and Add-ons.

3. On the Add-ons page, search for ack-helm-manager. In the lower-right corner of the ack-helm-manager card, click Install.

4. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

5. On the Add-ons page, view the installation status of ack-helm-manager.

   After the add-on is installed, its status changes to Installed.

Usage

1. Log on to the ACK console. In the left navigation pane, click Clusters.

2. On the Clusters page, click the name of your cluster. In the left navigation pane, click Applications > Helm.

3. On the Helm page, click Deploy. Configure the parameters in the Basic Information section.

   Parameter	Description
   Application name	Enter a custom name.
   Namespace	Select the namespace where you want to install the Helm chart.
   Source	Select ACR EE.
   Instance	Select an available Region, Instance, Repository, and Chart.

4. Click Next.

5. On the Parameters page, keep the default parameters and click OK.
