Modify a multi-account trail

You can modify a multi-account trail to change event types, delivery destinations, or other trail settings in the ActionTrail console.

Prerequisites

A resource directory is enabled. For more information, see Enable a resource directory.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ActionTrail console by using a delegated administrator account or a management account.

    Note
    • Members in the resource directory can view but not modify the multi-account trail.

    • For more information about how to configure a delegated administrator account, see Manage a delegated administrator account.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Trails.

  3. On the Trails page, click the name of the trail that you want to update.

  4. In the upper-right corner of the page that appears, click Edit.

  5. On the Modify Trail page, update the trail parameters.

    • In the Basic Information section, update the Event Type for management events.

    • In the Event Delivery section, update the delivery destination.

      • Delivery to Log Service

        • Select Delivery to Current Account, and update the Logstore Region and Project Name.

        • Select Delivery to Another Account, and update the Log Service Project ARN and RAM Role ARN of Destination Account.

      • Delivery to OSS

        • Select Delivery to Current Account and update the Bucket Name.

          Note

          You can update the Log File Prefix only if you select New OSS Bucket.

        • Select Delivery to Another Account, and update the RAM Role ARN of OSS Bucket, Bucket Name, and Log File Prefix.

      • Delivery to MaxCompute

        • If you select Delivery to Current Account, update the MaxCompute Region and Project Quota.

        • If you select Delivery to Another Account, update the Project ARN and RAM Role ARN of MaxCompute.

  6. Click Confirm.

    Note

    If you set the Apply Trail to All Members option to Yes, the trail parameters are updated for all members in the resource directory.
