Image settings
Configure specifications and regions, sandbox lifecycle, network, display, and MCP tool settings for a custom image in the AgentBay console.
Prerequisites
A custom image is created. For more information, see Create a custom image.
If the custom image is enabled, disable it before you modify settings.
Access image settings
Log on to the AgentBay console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Image Management (Beta).
On the Images (Beta) page, click the Custom Image tab.
Find the target image and click Settings in the Actions column.
NoteYou can modify settings only when the image is in the Disabled state. If the image is enabled, disable it first. After you finish configuration, click Enable to apply the settings.
Specifications and regions
Configure the instance type and deployment regions for the image.
Parameter | Description |
Instance type | The specification of sandbox instances created from this image. Select an instance type based on your workload requirements. [To be verified in console] |
Regions | The regions where the image is available. Select one or more regions for deployment. [To be verified in console] |
Sandbox lifecycle
Configure when sandbox instances are created and recycled to balance resource usage and availability.
Parameter | Description |
TTL (Time to Live) | The maximum duration that a sandbox instance can exist. After the TTL expires, the instance is automatically recycled. [To be verified in console] |
Idle recycling | The maximum idle time for a sandbox instance. If no activity is detected within this period, the instance is recycled. [To be verified in console] |
Network redirection
In the Network Configuration section, select a network type based on your bandwidth and connectivity requirements.
Basic networking
When you select Basic Networking, sandbox instances use shared, free bandwidth. The maximum bandwidth for a single session is 5 Mbps.
Advanced networking
When you select Advanced Networking, sandbox instances use dedicated, paid bandwidth and are billed on a pay-by-data-transfer basis.
To limit the bandwidth for a single session, turn on Maximum public bandwidth per session and specify a value. Valid values: 2 to 200. Unit: Mbps.
Custom network
When you select Customize Network, sandbox instances are created in a specified virtual private cloud (VPC). You can customize the network configuration.
Select a VPC and a vSwitch. If no VPC or vSwitch is available, see Create a VPC and a vSwitch.
Optional: To use specific DNS servers, configure the DNS Server IP (DNS Server IP Address). You can specify up to two DNS server IP addresses, separated by a comma (,).
Note the following limits:
The VPC must be in the China (Hangzhou) region.
Only vSwitches in Hangzhou Zone B (cn-hangzhou-b) are supported.
Display settings
Configure the visual output of sandbox instances.
Parameter | Description |
Resolution | The display resolution of the sandbox instance. Select a resolution based on your use case. [To be verified in console] |
MCP tool settings
Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools extend the capabilities of AI models by enabling interaction with external systems and services. Configure the tools available in the sandbox environment.
To configure MCP tools for your image: [To be verified in console]
In the MCP tool settings section, click Add Tool. [To be verified in console]
Configure the tool parameters, including the tool name, endpoint, and authentication method. [To be verified in console]
Click Confirm to save the MCP tool configuration. [To be verified in console]
Save settings
After you configure all settings, click Confirm to save the changes.
To apply the settings, enable the image. The settings take effect the next time a sandbox instance is created from this image.
