This topic describes the review standards for bot scripts.

What is a bot script?

  • A bot script is the audio content that an end user hears when they answer a voice call.

  • Bot scripts are categorized into text-to-speech (TTS) and recorded audio files.

    • A TTS script contains text content that is automatically converted to speech during a call.

For example: Hello, valued Alibaba Cloud user. This is Alibaba Cloud support. Your verification code is ${vericode}. Is the code ${vericode}?

    • A recorded audio file script is a pre-recorded audio file in the MP3 or WAV format. The file is played directly after the end user answers the call.

For example: Your package has been delivered. Please check for it.

Script standards

  • The script must clearly state the content of the voice message and reflect the business intent. Scripts can contain variables, but they must be surrounded by descriptive text. Scripts that consist of only one or more variables are not supported.

Correct example: "Hello: ${content}", or "Hello: ${name}, ${content}".

  • A variable represents customizable content in the voice message. Variables use a fixed format, such as ${name} or ${content}, where the text inside the braces represents the variable's property. The naming convention for variables is as follows: The name must start with a letter and can contain only letters, numbers, and underscores. The name cannot consist of only numbers. The name also cannot be a reserved term, such as email, mobile, id, nick, or site.

Content standards

  • The actual content of a script variable must be less than 150 characters. Links are not supported.

  • Sending any content related to Internet finance is prohibited. This includes voice captchas and voice calls.

  • Sending unsolicited messages is not supported. This includes commercial messages that invite users to register or become members.

  • For industries such as finance, real estate, overseas study, and recruitment, only voice captchas are currently supported.

  • Sending voice messages related to the following topics is prohibited: pornography, gambling, drugs, party and government affairs, rights protection, crowdfunding, charitable fundraising, religion, superstition, stocks, immigration, interviews and recruitment, lotteries, loans, debt collection, credit card limit increases, investment and wealth management, prize notifications, sweepstakes, bidding promotions, flash sales, counterfeit goods, plastic surgery, tobacco and alcohol, dating, violence, intimidation, fur products, rebates, invoice issuance services, agent-based registration, certificate application services, invitations to join groups or add QQ or WeChat contacts, selling personal information, encouraging users to switch carriers, mobile data plan marketing, insurance, real estate, education, training, games, beauty services, medical services, clubs, bars, foot spas, exam assistance, trademark registration, home improvement, building materials, furniture, conventions, exhibitions, car shows, and real estate expos.
