Release an instance

Before you begin

• Subscription instances are released automatically upon expiration and cannot be released manually. To release a subscription instance manually, it must first be converted to pay-as-you-go.

• You can manually release a pay-as-you-go instance only if its Status is Running.

Procedure

1. Log on to the AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL console.
2. In the upper-left corner of the console, select a region.
3. Find the instance that you want to manage and click the instance ID.

4. In the upper-right corner of the Basic Information page, choose Manage Instance > Release Instance.

5. In the Release Instance dialog box, click OK.
