Application Security of Alibaba Cloud Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS) has been commercially available since 00:00 on June 18, 2022. This topic describes the billing rules and the unit prices of Application Security.
Billing rules
Billable item — You are charged based on the number of Application Security agents that you use. Fees are settled on a daily basis.
Unit price — The price of an Application Security agent depends on the type of node on which the agent runs:
Public cloud node — CNY 2.4 per agent per day
Alibaba Gov Cloud node — CNY 3.6 per agent per day
Alibaba Finance Cloud node — CNY 4.8 per agent per day

For example, if you use an average of 100 agents per day on public cloud nodes in the China (Hangzhou) region, your monthly budget is 100 × 2.4 × 30 = CNY 7,200. The calculation is based on a 30-day month.

Application Security activation
You must activate Application Security before you can use its features. You can activate Application Security on the Overview page of the ARMS console.
