CEN provides proactive alerts that help you promptly identify risks, view affected resources, and prevent business disruptions.
Supported alert events
Alert events are predefined by Alibaba Cloud to record and send notifications about your cloud network resources. These events can indicate the execution status of an O&M task, a resource anomaly, or a change in resource status.
The CEN console supports three types of alert events, as described in the following table.
|
Event code |
Name |
Severity |
Description |
Alert rule |
Recommended action |
|
problem-cen-routeOverLimit |
CEN route quota exceeded |
Critical |
The CEN route quota is exceeded, which may cause network issues. |
Critical: The CEN route quota is exceeded, causing network issues. |
Upgrade the Transit Router (TR). For detailed instructions, see Upgrade a Basic Edition Transit Router. |
|
problem-cen-vpcAttachBandwidthOverLimit |
Packet loss on a VPC connection due to exceeding the bandwidth limit |
Critical |
Packet loss occurs because the actual traffic on the Transit Router exceeds the bandwidth limit. |
Critical: An alert is triggered if the inbound packet loss rate is greater than 0 for more than 5 data points within a 10-minute period. |
Increase the peak bandwidth. For detailed instructions, see Increase CEN quotas. |
|
problem-cen-peerAttachBandwidthOverLimit |
Packet loss on an inter-region connection due to exceeding the bandwidth limit |
Critical |
Packet loss occurs because the actual traffic on the Transit Router exceeds the bandwidth limit. |
Critical: An alert is triggered for a TR instance when both of the following conditions are met within a 10-minute period: Condition 1: The outbound peak bandwidth utilization is greater than or equal to 90% for more than 8 data points. Condition 2: The outbound packet drop rate due to rate limiting is greater than 100 pps for more than 8 data points. |
Increase the peak bandwidth. For detailed instructions, see Increase CEN quotas. |
