Billing examples
Cloud Backup uses the pay-as-you-go billing method. The following examples illustrate how fees are calculated for common backup scenarios.
The unit prices and fees in the following examples are for reference only. For actual prices, see Cloud Backup pricing. Your actual bill may differ.
Pay-as-you-go
Example: ECS instance with file and database backups
An ECS instance contains 10 GB of files and 163 GB of database files. No incremental data is generated. Cloud Backup runs a full backup once a month. Each backup is retained for 30 days.
Based on a 30-day month, the first month costs CNY 49.9968 + CNY 2.3616 = CNY 52.3584. From the second month onward, the cost increases to CNY 49.9968 + CNY 2.3616 + CNY 60 + CNY 17.928 = CNY 130.2864. The following table shows the breakdown.
