The database management feature for Cloud Web Hosting changed on December 28, 2022. Users who log on to the Cloud Web Hosting console with non-Alibaba Cloud accounts cannot use the web version of Data Management (DMS) to manage databases. They can continue to use the DMS client to manage databases.

Impact and solution
Impact
Users who log on to the Cloud Web Hosting console with non-Alibaba Cloud accounts cannot use the web version of DMS to manage databases. They can continue to use the DMS client to manage databases.
Solution
- Alibaba Cloud account: When you log on to the Cloud Web Hosting console with your Alibaba Cloud account, the console switches to the new web version of DMS for database management. Log on to your database using the new web version of DMS. For more information, see Log on to a database using the web version of DMS.
- Non-Alibaba Cloud account: When you log on to the console with your Cloud Web Hosting username and password, you are redirected to the download page for the DMS client. Download the DMS client and then log on to your database. For more information, see Log on to a database using the DMS client. Note The DMS client does not require an Alibaba Cloud account.
