Ingest PolarDB metrics and logs into CloudMonitor 2.0 to monitor your PolarDB clusters.

Prerequisites

Limits

  • If you use a RAM user for the integration, you must grant the AliyunCloudMonitorFullAccess system policy to the user.

  • After you stop the automatic collection of PolarDB audit logs, you must manually disable SQL Explorer in the PolarDB console.

Data ingestion

  1. Log on to the CloudMonitor 2.0 console and select the target workspace. In the navigation pane, click Integration Center, and then click PolarDB.

  2. Enter a new Policy name or select an existing one, and then select the Entity Scope.

  3. Select the observable data to ingest, and then click OK.

    Tag key: Specify an instance tag key to enrich metrics. The tag key-value pair is automatically added as a label to each metric.

  4. After the integration is complete, view the ingested entities and observable data on the Entity Explorer or Database Observability page.

Storage policies

When you connect PolarDB, CloudMonitor automatically creates an SLS Logstore and a Prometheus instance to store the ingested data.

Uninstall or modify an integration policy

To modify or delete an integration policy, go to the Integration Management page in the Integration Center. Find the relevant policy and click Edit or Delete.
