Integrate OSS metrics and logs into CloudMonitor 2.0 to monitor your OSS resources.
Prerequisites
-
You have activated Object Storage Service (OSS) and created a bucket.
-
You have activated Managed Service for Prometheus and Enterprise Cloud Monitor.
-
If you use a RAM user for the integration, you must grant the
AliyunCloudMonitorFullAccesssystem policy to the user.
Billing
-
Integrating metrics incurs costs for real-time data export from Enterprise Cloud Monitor and for using Managed Service for Prometheus.
-
Access logs are free for the first 7 days, with a daily write limit of 900 GB (equivalent to approximately 900 million log entries, assuming each entry is 1 KB). Usage beyond this limit is billed separately by Log Service.
-
Log Service charges standard fees for operations such as data reads from a dedicated Logstore, outbound internet traffic, data processing, and data shipping. The alert feature is free, but channel fees apply for SMS and voice notifications.
For more information about Log Service billing, see Items billed on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Procedure
-
Log on to the CloudMonitor 2.0 console. Select a workspace, click Integration Center in the left-side navigation pane, and then click OSS Access Log.
-
Enter or select a policy name, choose the entity scope, and then click OK.
-
Select the observable data to integrate, and then click OK.
Observable data
Description
Integration name
Optional. The name of the integration configuration.
Enable OSS access log
Collects OSS access log data. By default, logs are stored in oss-log-{{Account ID}}-{{Bucket Region}}/oss-log-store.
Extract related security entities
Creates a scheduled SQL job that extracts security-related entities and associations, such as AccessKeys and Roles, from OSS access logs. The scheduled SQL job is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis.
-
After the integration is complete, go to the Entity Explorer to view the integrated entities and their related observable data.
Storage policy
After OSS integration, CloudMonitor 2.0 creates an SLS Project, SLS Logstore, and Prometheus instance to store the observable data.
